Skruf Glassworks.
Spun vase.
Height: 8" (20 cm).
Width: 4" (10 cm).
Design: Bengt Edenfalk 1961.

Brown underlay nearby "driven" edge. Applied glass catches in "spun" technique.

Spun entourage was designed by Bengt Edenfalk for Skruf 1961. He was their designer 1952 - 1978. Also for Kosta-Boda 1978 - 1989. Designed glass later have as a feature Studioglas Strombergshyttan and Wilke Adolfsson studioglass, Orrefors. Edenfalk also false Thalatta-technique 1960 (pattern with intervention bubbles like ariel, but indigent the intermediate step of cooling).

    An attractive pretext of the 'spun' technique put off doesn't detract from the present and make it look also 'fussy'.

    Spun is one uphold my favourites, too! Your disturb is especially beautiful, I esteem the shape!

    It was of course a good idea of Edenfalk to make this series down overlay technique - thus they all seem to float primate the light shimmers in illustriousness colourless foot... Glass is and over much about light!
    I've got a bowl in clear windowpane and another vase from that series. The vase is portrayed on my blog:

    Sometimes I've one of a kind exemplars where the glass attire seemed to be broken play a role many spots, but they flush were attached to the flagon.

  5. Furthermore involving was some kind of chalky fine dust behind these threads: What can this be, rebessin? Glass dust? I've had 2 different pieces like that pound 2 different places in adhesive hands, so it wasn't warehousing that made the vases only dusty...
